Hello! I’m Lorena, the founder, maker and heart at Avril.

Avril began with a simple curiosity, a profound respect for the environment and a huge interest in natural products. I am a passionate and eco-conscious Spanish artisan embarked on a soap making journey. What started as a hobby soon transformed into a heartfelt project to create soaps that are not only gentle on your skin but also respectful of the planet we call home.

I'm a soap maker with a heart full of wanderlust, and I've fused my love for traveling with the art of soap crafting. As I journey to far-flung corners of the world, I bring back with me some natural ingredients that create my soaps. I can't wait to share it with you!

I create beautiful handcrafted products, in small-batches using high quality, plant-based and organic ingredients that are gentle and nourishing for the skin. Using only the finest, responsibly sourced ingredients, eschewing harsh chemicals and synthetic additives. 100% natural and vegan soaps made with the traditional cold process method that are as kind to your skin as they are to our planet.

I take the responsibility to the planet seriously. My soaps are not only kind to your skin but also eco-friendly. The packing materials are 100% plastic-free and all my product packaging has been carefully chosen ensuring that they can either be repurposed, recycled or biodegradable.

Vegan and Cruelty-Free

I am proud to be a cruelty-free brand and my soaps are 100% vegan. They are not tested on animals and do not contribute to the demand for animal-derived ingredients.
